Our Experience

Aspire was started by John and Svitlana Gardiner, to provide services for smaller businesses and the self employed. Starting and building up our own company, as well as working within such organisations,  has given us that experience of what it’s like to start and run a small business.

Our Qualifications

John is our Financial and Managing Director and will be the person most of you will be familiar with. John has worked in a very wide range of industries over many years, and has been Accountant, Company Secretary, Financial Director and General Manager. John's range of practical experience covers many fields so he knows exactly what is required for your work.. He also has experience of Import and Export trading and the use of Letters of Credit and overseas trading. John is also very IT literate and has installed Accounting systems in a number of Companies.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, Fellow of the Federation of Tax Advisors, Fellow of the International Association of Book-Keepers, and a Fellow of the Institute of Commercial Management.

Svitlana is our Financial Accountant and Director, She studied her Accounting initially in Ukraine and is familiar with the 1C Accounting Programme used extensively in Ukraine and USSR. She is uniquely qualified to assist anyone from that part of the world with her Russian / Ukrainian language skills as well as her Accountancy. She holds the International Certificate of Federation Professional Accountants and Auditors of Ukraine. She has also worked in Accountancy positions in the UK and has qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants in the UK..
